Why is it that you should buy a Gibson Les Paul Studio guitar? You may be wondering, "What exactly is the difference between this and other models available?, " and "How do I know it is the right guitar for me?"

Though it was originally designed for Studio musicians, hence the name, the Les Paul studio was introduced as an alternative to its more expensive counterparts. The Gibson Les Paul Studio Guitar is a solid, well rounded instrument. The distinct wood used in the design delivers the unique tone much sought after. The Les Paul Studio is a fraction of the cost of the Les Paul Standard and Custom models.

Insofar as looks go the Studio guitar does not have the binding that some of the other models do, but it still has the mother of pearl inlays that give it that professional look. The binding is merely the trim one often sees on guitars and the inlays are the markers of the fret board that are available in either dots or the trapezoidal shapes.

The Studio model has a variety of finishes available from the more flashy designs or even the classic faded wood look. They are also available in a lot of the classic flamed maple top designs.

The major difference in these models are purely aesthetic and don't affect playability or functionality. A few bells and whistles aside the les Paul studio provides for you one of the most sought after guitars in history at considerably less cost than you would have to pay with any of the other models.

Electronically most les Paul guitars are similar, so if you need something primarily for function as opposed to fashion then you will not be disappointed. If you're looking for the Gibson sound and feel without having to break your bank then do yourself a favor and get a Gibson Les Paul Studio Guitar.
